A Simple Day in the Park ((open))

Kiri was sitting beneath a tree in the wide vast park, a book in her hand. The woman didn't have much to do but wait until the new season started, teaching was her life. A small huff was heard as she brushed away some stray hairs for the umpteenth time. Her krutches stood supported against the tree, as a wave of comforting silence came over her. It was different from the silence she felt at home, she wasn't at edge here.

Fijek had been in the park doing some relaxing from the days training. he had just got back from a mission a few hours eailer and he wanted to rest. The wind blew gently through his hair and swayed his black cloak in the wind. It felt good out and it was quite but fijek just felt the need to do something. Life was getting better but he still did not know what the future intended for him. As he walked through the park he notivhed a women sitting under a large tree with a book in his hand. she looked like a joyful women and he didnt reconize her. "maybe ill go speak to her" Said fijek to himself as he slowly walked over to where the lady was. " Hi, what are you reading there?" asked fijek to the woman, not having a clue of what he was doing. "the name is Fijek, and yours?"

Kiri jerked slightly as the man spoke, she wasn't aware that anyone was there. She looked up to him shyly, she wasn't the most social person. " Oh! H-Hello sir, " she stammered. He asked her what she was reading. " I-Its umm..A-A medical guide." she whispered.

Kiri looked over the man carefully, noticing he was Leaf, she immediately relaxed a bit. ' F..ijek.. she repeated it more slowly in her mind, her stormy eyes glinted with curiosity. She had never heard such a name before, and Kiriyomi, being the childish woman she was, found it with the upmost interest. " K..Kiriyomi Natsuke." she told him with a bright sheepish grin.

Fijek smiled at the woman. "Medical guide huh...cool" fijek noticed that the lady seemed nervous around him and wondered why, but didnt think to much of it. "Kiriyomi Natsuke, thats a cool name." fijek could not believe how cheesy he was sounding. The truth is Fijek was never a people person. just recently he had begun to interact with more people in the village. He wasent really shy, just not good at talking to people. He walked over to Kiriyomi and sat on the grass next to her."you mind if i sit?" realizing he had already sat.

Kiri looked startled as he sat next to her, she didn't do too well around men. She fought back the urge to cry as she smiled back at him and shook her head. " Hai. Go ahead, Fijek-san! " she told him. Closing her book, she placed it softly on her lap and turned to him. " I-Its nice..here in the park." she said, smiling to him.

Fijek chuckled a little to himself as he noticed kiri act nervous. He use to have the same problem, but it seemed to be geting better. He looked at kiris hair and then at her eyes. He never really got to know many females so he didnt really know how to act around them. This was all new to him. "So what do you do?"

Kiri played with a strand of her honey-brown hair as he looked at her, she shifted under his gaze. Was there something wrong with her? She decided not to ask as he asked about her occupancy. " Academy..Teacher." she spoke, her aura flared with pride as her stormy eyes sparkled with happiness, she truly loved kids.

Okashii was in the middle of the street looking on, he hadn't really had anything to do. He wanted to pick out some kind of apprentice for him, but he really didn't know exactly he would go about picking someone that would be strong enough for the job. They didn't nessecarily have to be strong but they atleast had to have the potientual. Okashii wanted to teach someone GamaHei, his own version of Sage Mode. He sighed, kicking rocks with his feet as he walked down the road. He had no idea what to do, the village council had yet to pick a Hokage. Not that he wanted to be the Hokage, but he was wondering if they would pick him considering he is the grandson of Naruto Uzumaki, and the great granson of the greatest Shinobi that ever lived, Yondaime.

Okashii had already surpassed Yondaime's abilities, yet he wasn't recognized for it. Of course everyone knew him as a strong Shinobi simply because he was a Sannin, however they didn't know him as the greatest shinobi that Konoha ever produced, which was pretty much what he really was. He reached the end of a path, and didn't know what to do next. This was why he wasn't fit to be Hokage, he was incapable of making a decision. Even if it was as simple as going left or right, he could never decide. Still, he finally picked that he would go right. He wanted a longer path untill he saw the village park where many would go to train alot. He grinned for a second as he saw people there, but he didn't hurry. He didn't know who they were exactly, so he wasn't going to go off running and saying hi to them.

He stopped as he got about 10 meters away and then sat down, taking out a scroll that was on his back. He began reading and enjoying the sun light, even though alot of it was blocked by the trees, creating alot of shade. His blonde/yellow haired was almost blinding in the sun light, and when people saw him if they didn't recognize him as a Sannin then they definitely recognized him as a descendent of Naruto. He said nothing at first while he was reading, and then stood up "Ahhhhh, such a wonderful day!" he yelled out. "I should train." he said to himself as he looked around with a goofy grin on his face.

Fijek watched kiri playwith her hair. He was glad to finally be interacting with people other than hiding in a dark room spending all his time training. The days had been long and boring lately and fijek never found much to do. All his life he had been told he was a failure and a waist. But since becoming a chuunin he had begun to branch out more and learn that not everyone was hateful. so he sat there silently for a while, not really knowing what to do. He just looked at kiri for a while, then shift his glance to the trees above. This was begining to look up for him, no more hiding and running. Maybe life in konoha would not be as bad as he was thought it to be.

As fijek sat he noticed an older man walking in the park. He seemed a littl disorintated and a little lost. but fijek didnt pay the man any mind until he began to get closer. Fijek now reconized him as a sannin of the village."But what would he be doing out here?" asked fijek to himself as he watched to man sit at a bench not to far from them. "hey, do you know why that sannin is in the park, is there like something wrong with the village?" asked fijek to kiri. He was a little confused because he never really saw sannin around the village, expechialy now when there was no hokage. but times were tough so he went back to staring at the tree when he heard the sannin jump and yell. fijek took surpise to the man and jumped a little. He heard the man yell ' such a wonderful day!' and fijek was bored so he yelled back "THATS RIGHT MAN!" Fijek knew people would be looking at him but he didnt care. He just felt like living.

Kiriyomi cocked her head at Fijek's question. Her eyes soon traveled to the Sannin and she was frozen in awe. She had never seen such a high-ranking shinobi so carefree and out in the eye of the public. " H-He..apparently w-wants to enjoy such a nice day! " she said with a kind light smile.

The woman was spastic, which meant if she wasn't focused, she was startled by each little noise. When the Sannin yelled out, Kiri found herself lying flat on her back, krutches sprawled over her. Her dark grayish-blue eyes wide, as she found herself trembling slightly. She moved a small, slender hand to lay across her racing heart. A hesitant shaken laugh escaped her throat as she stared up at the tree for a moment, it was times like these where she detested Cerebral Palsy.

Kayn jumped into the clearing of the park. He had traveled from the earth village in earnest. As he traveled he thought of what was to come. He was recently promoted to anbu and was hoping to be the head anbu soon. As he reached the village he bypassed the gates from the importance. He looked over the three ninja relaxing there and sighed. He was jealous, he had never had time to relax because he was always by himself. Maybe that will change someday he thought. He then looked at the sanin and nodded. "Okashii, one of the sanin. I am glad i have located you quickly."

Kayn looked at him and nodded, he was in need of some help. He had recently discovered missing ninja and rumors began to spread around his village. He had a feeling something was happening and had asked the tsuchikage for this mission. He had been on recon ever since, with high level clearance, he was able to go almost anywhere he had a hunch. "I have been gathering information, but i have need of an ally. Someone is to strike somewhere soon, and i want to catch them before they do." After said that he looked at the other two ninja. He helped the girl to her feel and nodded to her, then the boy. He then stood and looked back at the sanin for his answere.

Kiri stumbled to her feet with the help of the Earth ninja, she nodded politely to him, taking a tight grip on her krutches. He was the one, the one she met with Suki. She observed the way he spoke to the Sannin. They were on familiar terms? O..Okashii-sama.. His name ran through her mind with intrest. She had heard of him before..but where? Coming back to her senses, she inhaled sharply as her legs began to radiate pain throughout her lower torso.

She lowered herself onto her knees slowly, if she didn't, she knew she would collapse. She listened numbly to the Earth ninja's words, although, because she was concentrating on the pain, only bits and pieces were registered into her mind.

Fijek noticed the earth anbu show up and greet the sannin. then he lended a hand to kiri, who was on her back. Fijek stood a greeted the man. "hi, names Fijek." He stood there and acknowldged that this man was on important bussines. So he stood quitely and listened to the man. He put hie left hand to his head and scratched. Not half understanding the mans conversation. Until he heard that he was hunting missing ninja in the area, and fijeks mind could only jump to one person. He did not feel comfortable around this man anymore, he felt as if he might be qustioned. He then saw kiri on one knee, seemed to be in pain. So he turned, to get away from the anbu, and bent down to help the lady. "you ok?"

Moist stormy eyes looked up to Fijek as she forced a smile, she coughed into the sleeve of her kimono, which sounded like the sobbing of a young girl. " H-Hai..I'm fine." she whispered as she turned away from all three men, her slight trembling, soon turned to violent shaking. Knuckles turning white as her grip around her krutches hardened. Warm tears fell from her eyes as her aura darkened. She couldn't stand to be listening to this conversation. Kiriyomi raised a silk sleeve to wipe at her eyes, and she turned back to the men, her smile formed into a cold glare.

She kept her composure as she faced the shinobi. Forcing herself up to her feet, her eyes were emotionless. The air was tense around her as she nodded stiffly to the three men. The woman was shut out from a young age, forcing to raise herself from early in her adolescent years, she had become overly shy, yes, but also cold and hard. Although, she rarely shows this side of her in front of people, this was her true color, her shinobi-self. " I shall take my leave, arigatou." Her voice was calm and cool as if she was a totally different person.

As the sannin and anbu contuied there talk and kiri stood fijek felt an un comfortable feeling. Like he was only there because he happened to be at the wrong time. the two talking about missing ninja seemed like they only looked at him as a lonly puny chuunin that was only a pawn to them. Then he could see kiris eyes and knew that she was not in a good mood. When she went to take her leave fijek to wanted to go. "shall i walk with you?" asked fijek to kiri. He just wanted to get away from this starnge Anbu and thought that kiri to just wanted to get away. He though maybe he could acompany her.
