Stillness of water(open)

Gami smirked and kept looking down at the waterfall as she tried to think about how to explain it the best way without the whole thing getting complicated.

"Well let's see how I can put this.... my two main elements are wind and water. Even before I became blind, I learned wind jutsus from my father, and learned some special uses with the wind and air from him too. Not to mention when I first became blind, my family helped me strenghten my other senses Because of that, I can sense things that disturbed wind or air currents. For instance, if I'm in a battle and an airborn kunai is being thrown at me, I can easily dodge it by.... 'hearing' it coming at me even when it's first let go.
"After a while and I moved to the Leaf -another family was looking after me for the time being- they trained me to use water jutsus. Soon enough, I can 'see' water flows in things. Humans are made up of 60% water, and that's how I can see them and you. Then of course I can 'see' the water in other things like animals, plants, enviroments containing water, or even dry objects like rocks that has some sort of water covering over it too like these statues.
"I know it's pretty confusing and complicated, but that's how it worked. Even I'm still mystified at my abilities and I'm still trying to learn how that's possible too."

Fijek stood there intent and listened to Gami speak. He was interested in her story and also facinated at how even blind she could perform just as a normal ninja. "So you have had a interesting past i persume, but how exactly did you become blind, just sickness?" He pressed on, wanting to know Gami enough to where she would not leave here with out Fijek knowing who she was. He would only feel comfort around her when he felt like he knew something about her. she did not seem like she was an enemy but looks could be deciving as fijek has come to know.

"Something like that actually. I was born with a pretty weak sight. I could never see detail very well, and eventually my vision got worse till one morning I grew up with no sight at all."

Gami averted her eyes to Fjek again. Since she has answered some of his questions she suspects that there would be more coming and that he wants a better understanding of her. She metally shrugged at the thought and prepared for more questions that she might need to be careful about.

Fijek smiled and lowered his bow completly now, the arrow losened on the string but still up there. He was starting to feel moe comfortable around this woman every minute, like he did not have to worry. "So what is a lady like you doing out here at the vally of the end any ways, huh?" This qustion did bother him, for he did not know many people that came to this grim place. Yes, he did come alot, but becuse he loved the scene and the sky how it meets with the water over the low horizon.

Gami watched as Fijek lowered his bow on her. That's good because she thought he was growing some trust. She brought her eyes down to the waterfall and watched the water flow freely down. being able to hear things like this always seems to calm her for some reason, which was probably a good reason for coming here in the first place. Gami just shrugged at the question.

"I've never had a chance to visit here before, and I've heard many things about it too. So I got curious and came here. And now that I'm here, I kinda like it. I don't know how it looks with the color and detail, but from what I can 'see' it gives me an almost calm effect for some reason."

Fijek was still smileing and was kind of glad to hear words like that from gami. He to loved the feel of this village but this one spot got to him the most. just the calmness and serinty of it all. this was he most loved plave in all of konoha.

It was completly dark except for the dim glow of the moon and the stars. Fijek walked over to gami and took a seat on the cold stone the they stood upon. He did not want to go back to his apartment and he did not want to have to deal with the husle of the village. He was just going to sit out here and enjoy himself. "You dont mind if i sit do you, nust dont want to be rude you know." He finaly sat his bow and arrow on the ground and relaxed, loosing his muscles and calming down.

Gami gave a friendly smile to Fijek. She ran her hand over the cold wet stone across from him and sat down on it.

"No I don't mind."

Gami closed her eyes so she could just hear everything around her. She listened in carefully on her surrounding. By concentrating, she could hear the waterfall flowing down into the lake below, hear the calm breathing of her and Fijek, the animals in the forest below walking along the bank, and she could hear the crickets chirping. By hearing that, it must be dark out and it was cooler too.

"You've heard some things about me, tell me about you?"

fijek smiled at gami as she sat next to him on the cold stone. He put his arms back and leaned back a little, and began to think. Gami wanted to know a little about him now so he decided to give her a genaral run down. "Well im 17, im a chuunin and have been for a year. This is my most favorite spot in the village, actually the only spot i like in the village. i know im wanted here but i dont really like konoha. It dosent fit me to well. All the up keep and comformaty....Im sorry, i didnt mean to rant on like that." Fijek looked away for a second then back to gami, she was the first person he had ever told that he did not like the leaf village. He didnt mean to but it just came out, like it didnt matter to him any longer.

Gami listened in on what Fijek was saying. She grinned as he apologized for ranting on, but it was good to hear someone else talk. She was now getting a little more curious at why he didn't like Konoha or how he didn't fit in so well.

"It's ok.... why don't you think you fit in with Konoha?"

Fijek decided that he didnt care and wouldent mind talking to gami, he actually like talking to her and fely comfortable around her. "Well its just that i am never needed and all the missions i have done have been crap lately. I dont have a person who cares to train me so i dont plan on becoming a jounin any time soon and it just feels like im a pawn for the village now, like i dont matter." Fijek felt kind of weird telling gami this, but it was good to get it off his chest. Some one was actually listing to him for once, and it was some one he just met. "sorry if that sounds a little strange" Said to fijek, not wanting to creep her out or scare gami away from him.

"It's ok. I like to listen anyways."

Gami took a moment to think about what fijek had just said and also took some time to think about what to say to him back. She can understand some about not fitting in well or just being used because that was a feeling she's had a long time ago. Now that she was a missing ninja, she just wished that people would see she wasn't a bad person and stereotype like that. She had to gain trust, like how she did with Fijek. It just takes time....

"I can see what you're going threw, however just because you aren't put into the most important missions or have the best training doesn't mean you should leave the village like that. if you still perform those missions and show that you are willing to do more and harder ones, and training yourself where others could see might bring some idea that you have potential in tohers eyes. It might not be now, but it will take time. Even by getting to know some people and show that you're willing to work hard will show the potential you possess. With me when I was young I was never put into some of the real action because I was blind. But threw hard work and showing my potential, I can now do things that others might of thought impossible."

Fijek sat and listend to what gami had to say. He sat quietly and took in all her words and thought about them for a while. He pondered her words and played them back in his head, realizing that she was right. But he could not understand how he would be able to put up with the edge of the village and all its ways. but he saw a light and knew that what gami had told him was in fact true and hopefully he would have a chance to shine above his normal standereds.

Fijek sat in silence for a while. Gami didn't mind because she thought he was probably still thinking about what she said. She kept her eyes closed and sat still as she focused in on her surroundings again. Eveything seemed still now. The animals in the forest below were quiet, and the crickets still chirped. After a moment, Gami opened her eyes to watch the water fall again to the lake below, and watched the wind play around in circles. Through her eyes, she can 'see' all this better than normal eyes, but it all lacked detail.

Fijek looked up to the sky and smiled. "Well its kind of late and i need to head back to the village." He didnt want to end his conversation with gami But he new walking back into the village this late at night would bring up suspicions. Plus he was getting tired and cold. He went to stand when he stopped and looked back at gami."Do you have a place to go for the night, Im not sure where you have been staying but i have an extra room if you need a place to stay for the night." He wasent sure how gami would take to this but he just wanted to be nice for once.

Gami looked up at Fijek after she looked down at the forest below. She gave a friendly smile but she shook her head. She got up from her seat on the rock and took in the night air. She walked over close to the rock's edge as she watched everything fall below her.

"Thank you for the offer, but I better not.... Oh I haven't been honest to you about one thing, and please don't take it the wrong way why and I hope you can still trust me."
